This concept project explores a playful website design for the World Pea Throwing Championships, an annual event celebrating one of Britain’s most unusual traditions. The goal was to create an engaging digital experience that captures the quirky spirit of the competition while making it easy for visitors to discover event information, explore past records, and register to take part.

The visual identity reflects the playful nature of the event. A bold display typeface gives the design a distinctive, informal character, while a clean sans-serif font ensures readability across the site.
The visual design draws inspiration from the movement of a thrown pea, using curved shapes, dynamic graphics, and rounded buttons to create a sense of motion and energy. A bold green colour palette strengthens the connection to the event while adding a playful and distinctive personality.
